Refund & Cancellation Policy

PrelimsAI Pro is sold as a Monthly plan and a Prelims Pass. You can buy either on our website, where payments are processed by Razorpay, or in our Android app, where payments are processed by Google Play. How refunds and cancellations work depends on where you bought.

1. Purchases on the website

You can get a full refund of your current plan within 7 days of its start, with no questions asked. Request it from the Billing page while signed in, or email hi@prelims.ai from the address on your account.

Refunds go back to the payment method you used. Razorpay usually completes them within 5–7 working days, though your bank may take longer to show the credit. Pro access ends once the refund is issued.

After 7 days, web purchases are not refundable. If you were charged twice or charged in error, email us and we will put it right.

2. Purchases in the Android app

Purchases made in the Android app are billed by Google Play and follow Google Play's refund policy. To request a refund, open your Google Play order history and choose “Request a refund”, or use the Google Play help centre. If Google asks you to contact us, email hi@prelims.ai. When Google refunds a purchase, Pro access from that purchase ends.

3. Cancelling

Monthly, bought on the website: a single payment for 30 days of Pro. It does not renew automatically, so there is nothing to cancel. Pro ends when the 30 days are up.

Monthly, bought in the Android app: a Google Play subscription that renews automatically every month until you cancel it. Cancel any time in the Play Store under Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions (see Google's instructions). You keep Pro until the end of the month you have paid for, and you are not charged again.

Prelims Pass: a one-time payment, on either platform, that is valid until UPSC Prelims exam day (at most 365 days from purchase). It never renews automatically, so there is nothing to cancel.

4. Free trial

The Pro free trial involves no payment, so there is nothing to refund. It ends on its own when the trial period is over.
